Klein House
Description: This new 5 story, single family house sits on a narrow site outside the edge of the Park Slope Historic District. A traditional row house typology re-establishes the end of a row of five existing houses to the East, yet asserts a contemporary presence through subtle and spare detailing, large expanses of glass, and it’s tall and thin proportion.

Description: This new 5 story mixed-use building includes 4 large residential units and ground floor commercial space. The site occupies an unusual sheered intersection at the border of the Historic District. The residential units each occupy a single floor and have exposures on all four sides through large expanses of glass set within deep shaded openings.

Tibetan Center
Description: In order to develop the property as both a Tibetan Community Center and a restaurant and rug company showroom, the property must first amend it’s zoning designation. A variance is currently sought based upon our design and is proceeding through the DCP land use process.

Slope House
Description: A new single family house will be developed under Section 74-711 of the NYC Zoning Resolution. Adjacent to a Queen Anne style residence long housing a bordello, the new house will sit back from the street maintaining the open space of the garden.

Sferrazza / Rose Residence
Description: A rooftop addition to a carriage house in the heart of Brooklyn Heights is set back from the front and rear facades to limit visibility. With exterior walls of limestone, terraces of granite, and bronze doors and windows, the addition is simple, refined and elegant. The central space is defined by a coffered and sky lit ceiling with walls of doors leading to a sun terrace and pool area. An upper terrace provides views of the Manhattan skyline.

Pitofsky Residence
Description: A narrow townhouse poorly remodeled in the fifties is fully restored to it’s original elegance. The front stoop, detail and window configuration will be fully restored. The interior will be re-configured to allow for a master bedroom floor and two children’s floors. A new extension in the rear yard will provide a new kitchen and a roof deck for the master bedroom.
