Upper East Side Apartment

This Upper East Side apartment was a gut renovation that combined the client’s interest in modern design and traditional Japanese woodworking. Many soffits and different ceiling heights were disguised behind cabinetry or leveled out to create a more harmonious space. The new kitchen was enlarged into the existing butler’s room and WC.
