Clinton St. Townhome

Originally a Single family home, this narrow townhouse occupies a fifteen foot lot, with a mere twelve feet of usable interior space. The obvious challenge was creating an acceptable home for a young, growing family within such a narrow space. Whenever possible the full width of the house was captured. A limited palette of light reflecting colors and materials brings luminance and volume to the interior. The backyard connects directly to the kitchen and dining rooms through a new steel and glass rear facade opening. The project completely updated all building systems as well as adding central air conditioning.
