8th Avenue Lobby

Originally configured as a long dark space with a very low dropped ceiling this commercial lobby renovation sought to bring in light and use its length as an attribute. The design draws the user in by creating an interior streetscape illuminated by the striking linearity of the new angled ceiling as well as accent lights on the rear wall. The vertical pattern on the walls breaks up the long perspective while adding a tactile element.
